T-Mobile Hotspots Now Available<\/h1>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>[vc_column_text css=””]The Bethlehem Area Public Library is partnering with T-Mobile to offer free mobile hotspots to our patrons.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The library mobile hotspot program allows library card holders to access unlimited, high-speed Internet service anywhere a T-Mobile signal<\/a> can be received. How It Works<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>[vc_column_text]Do I need a library card to check out a mobile hotspot?<\/strong>
\nYes. Anyone 18 years or older wishing to check out a mobile hotspot will need to have a current, updated Bethlehem Area Public Library card with no more than $10 in fines.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]How much does it cost?<\/strong>
\nBorrowing and using the device is free! There is a $2.00 per day late fee. Mobile hotspots will be deactivated on the first day they are overdue.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]How long can I keep it?<\/strong>
\nYou can borrow a mobile hotspot for up to 7 days.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]Can I renew it?<\/strong>
\nYou may renew the mobile hotspot up to two (2) times if there is not a waiting list.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]Can I reserve a hotspot to check out for a particular date and time?<\/strong>
\nNo. You can place holds on the mobile hotspots, but we cannot guarantee their availability for a specific date or time. Mobile hotspots are available on a first-come\/first-served basis like all our library materials.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]Can I use the mobile hotspot outside of the U.S.?<\/strong>
\nNo. The mobile hotspots only work in the U.S.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]How do I return it?<\/strong>
\nYou can return the mobile hotspot to the Main Library, South Side branch, Bookmobile, or the library\u2019s book drops, just like other library items. You must return the device with all the original packaging and accessories. Failure to return all items will result in charges to your library account.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]What happens if I lose or break the hotspot?<\/strong>
\nYou are expected to take good care of the mobile hotspot unit while it is checked out to you. If the mobile hotspot becomes lost or damaged, a fine of $100 will be applied to your account.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]What information about my Internet usage, if any, is tracked by the library?<\/strong>
\nYour Internet usage is not tracked by the library. While using the library\u2019s hotspot you are governed by the same rules as our wireless policy.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]Is internet content filtering enforced on mobile hotspots?<\/strong>
\nInternet content filtering is enforced, but parents and guardians are responsible for a child\u2019s use of the mobile hotspot and the material accessed.
